 Storage Tier defined
Does anyone have any examples of the definitions they have used for defining storage tiering. We have seen many versions but what have companies used that works and makes sense.

Answer Wiki:
The normal way to understand teir storage is the acces and reliability to the disk. so the Teir one is verry fast and more reliable becaus of the SCSI protocole. the teir two is SATA disk so sloyer and less relyable Tier tree and others are tape, DVD, Optical drive. And now their is teir 0 that is Flash Drive verry reliable and very very very fast.
