    This question needs some clarification. Is this a database used at a company?  If so, are you the person in charge of that kind of decisions?  If so, why are you making that decision?  OTOH, You seem to be trying to replace a database with other applications that are just clients, which need a database to work with.  Can you clarify that, please?

    What I know is that you can use Php in web -based applications instead of using Database. One reason Memory contraints. For example if you wish to set online registration of a college or university OR online sending of orders/inquiries can also be done the PHP way to forward whatever on the form(e.g Html form) via an E-mail therefore the problems of Memory is not a big problem since the sender e-mail can easily traced if need arise to contact the sender. But any negative approach to this question I'm still figuring BUT meanwhile Any person with other reasons can address ...
