Statistics (R programming language) and Business Intelligence
Hello everyone, I'm still a student and I'm very interested in the BI field. But I have an important question. I would like to know if it's crucial to know well about statistics like the R programming language as I know it's widely used by the person who works in data mining and data analytics. In other words it's the technical side of BI and I think it's important to have some experiences in those fields before start in BI. So, I'm confused and I want your opinion.
To synthesize, is it important to have good knowledge in statistics to embrace a BI carrier?
Thanks.
