 Start Menu content
I need to prevent The Disk Cleanup Tool from displaying in the Start menu for one specific identity on our network, but this identity has no access to the Control Panel - so I am unsure of the best way to remove/prevent this from appearing in Start menus. I'm thinking that a registry fix would apply to Current User....but that profile is locked out of the registry. I am trying to determine the least complicated way to get this tool out of sight (out of mind.... ;-) Any thoughts welcome!

Answer Wiki:
Below it the link to Microsoft support, it goes over setting a policy restricting users to certain folders in the start menu using the registry. I haven't found anything easier that would give you the same outcome. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/292504 ======================== Editing the registry is not actually the best solution for your start menu problems. The best thing you have to do is to pin the start menu content or remove in manually. It is because editing the registry my create an additional problem related to the system, remember that registry composes of many sensitive system files.
