SSRS 2008 – Connection to Oracle 10g seems to be timing out
I'm running SSRS 2008 via Visual Studio on my desktop. The data source for my report is an Oracle 10g database. The report runs fine when the parameters are set to limit the number of rows returned, but when I change them to return more data it eventually times out. The same query runs in less than 2 minutes in my Oracle database utility. There is no timeout value set on the dataset itself, so that doesn't appear to be the problem. Is there perhaps a timeout setting in Oracle client that's causing this, and if so, how would I modify it? Thanks
