hI,
My first pasot here so id like to say hello to everyone
Our company has recently purchased a Data Loss Prevention server and it is my job to implement it , one of its tasks is to act as a proxy sever for all HTTPS traffic, I have done this but every time I go to a HTTPS site in Internet Explorer it tells me ‘’there is a problem with this websites security certificate;, when I click continue to the site it goes to the site and shows certificate error. I have attached a screen cap
I need to get rid of these errors as I cannot have then come up every time somebody visits a HTTPS site.
My question is this, is the reason that these errors are coming up because they have not had the certificate signed by a trusted root certificate authority and if yes is there anything that I can do with the certificate to get it signed?
cheers
BKK

That could be a reason, but if that is the case the message text should include something like ‘This website’s security certificate is not from a trusted source”
Have you tried opening one of those sites from a machine with direct internet access (i.e. without using the proxy) ? do you get the same warning ?
Install Windows SBS self-signed certificate may overcome this issue….
Open IE and click Continue to this website, Click Certificate Error button to open the information window and Click View Certificates, and then click Install Certificate. Now the warning message that appears, click Yes to install the certificate
