This is a weird one and I don't know what to make of it or what next steps to take to troubleshoot it:
Basically, my WiFi NIC has all of a sudden started blocking port 443 (SSL). I have a Dell Inspiron 300m laptop (running Windows XP Pro SP2) with a TrueMobile 1300 WLAN card; earlier today it started refusing to connect to anything that requires SSL (web sites as well as my Cisco VPN client). I confirmed that this is not a problem on my router (connecting the laptop to it directly via Ethernet works just fine); plugging in an external WiFi card also works. I have tried uninstaling and reinstalling the driver to no avail. What am I missing?
