SSL Exchange
My ISP (att.yahoo.com) is dropping port 25 and going to 465 with SSL authentication. How do I get exchange 2003 to use SSL in retrieving email. Also they are dropping 110 in favor of 995 with SSL also. Same question. Eddie

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Many ISP’s are switching over to SSL and port 465. My ISP (SBC Global) did it a few months ago, it was a bit of a hassle getting everything switched over, but it is all running fine now. According to my ISP the switch is needed to reduce Spam, increase security, and (I love this part…) to “enhance my Internet experience.”

Good Luck!
