 SRC code at IPL on 9406 170
AS/400, IBM 9406, IPL, SRC 10112541
When trying to IPL an As400 9406 170 i am getting SRC code 10112541 almost immediately - this is probably a hardware issue - but i cant find this code in the manual or on the web - does anybody know what this SRC code means

Hi, That's all I found without physical manual... These SRCs start with 1. SRC What it means 1xxx xxxx Check for a specific 1xxx SRC. If you do not see your SRC, a System Power Control Network (SPCN) failure may have been detected. Regards, Wilson Techgeck, My Problem Analysis, Repair and Parts manual doesn't show that exact SRC code (I have a 9406-720). But, the range of the code (2541) (in my manual) is inbetween the range of UPS (internal batteries) (2413 - UPS interface failure) or the power supply (2551 - power supply fault). Hi MrObvious,

I have semilar problem but on AS400 9406-510, v3.7 (2 towers , mirroring).

My AS400 was connected to a UPS but the UPS broke, so I disconnected all cable from UPS and directtly pluged AS400′s to wall outlets.

When trying to IPL, I got code A6005090 during IPL. (the system wasn’t up).
What does this code means ?

Is it related to the UPS that I disconnected ? If so, if I replace a new UPS, am i going to get the code A6005090 at IPL ?
