SQL User password

Does any one know how I can view an SQL user password. I know I can change it but I want to determine my current password for user scheme Cheers

If you’re using SQL Server, then I think you’re out of luck on this one. The passwords are stored in encrypted binary format. You can view the encrypted string, but no password in SQL Server is ever displayed in clear text.
