SQL Studio 2005 expired but it is not evaluation copy?
What happened? SQL Studio 2005 says evaluation period has expired even though I have a licensed copy of SQL Server 2005 installed. Please help.

Software/Hardware used:
Windows Server 2003

Answer Wiki:
Sounds like you installed the eval license on your desktop but the actual licensed copy on the server (hopefully).  You'll need to uninstall management studio on your workstation and reinstall it from the CD/DVD that it came on.

No this error is on the server, I didn’t install either on the Desktop.  I installed the licensed copy on the server and that is why I don’t understand this error?  If I uninstall management studio and reinstall will I lose my databases?
