SQL Server 2005
Greetings, I have my laptop running MS SQL 2005. I upgraded from XP to Vista. When XP was installed, I had SQL 2005 Express and SQL Server 2000 running parallel. After installing Vista (clean) I decided to just go with SQL 2005. I installed SQL 2005 Express. Later, I installed the full server, and tried to get the tools. The install completed, but I have no shortcuts under my start menu. I have a data migration project due soon, so I tried to uninstall the Express piece, and keep the server and the tools. Now I don't have the Server Manager Express or the tools. What steps should I follow to get Server 2005 and the Developer Tools to all work on my laptop running Vista? Thanks.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Run through the SQL Dev Edition installer again. When you get to the screen with the services that you can install (SQL SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, etc) select the bottom checkbox.
