I have my laptop running MS SQL 2005. I upgraded from XP to Vista. When XP was installed, I had SQL 2005 Express and SQL Server 2000 running parallel. After installing Vista (clean) I decided to just go with SQL 2005. I installed SQL 2005 Express. Later, I installed the full server, and tried to get the tools. The install completed, but I have no shortcuts under my start menu. I have a data migration project due soon, so I tried to uninstall the Express piece, and keep the server and the tools. Now I don't have the Server Manager Express or the tools.
What steps should I follow to get Server 2005 and the Developer Tools to all work on my laptop running Vista?
