We have diiference in two databases which are being replicated. What may cause the difference and how to find the differences. SQL sever 2003 is tha databse. Thanks

What are you using to replicate the database? Is there a publisher / subscriber model or maybe a backup is being restored nightly? This information will help determine where the differences could be.

    Depends on what you are using to replicate and how often. Are the differences recent data? If so and it replicates on a set schedule, then it could be that what you use to replicate "takes a picture" of current data, and while it replicates that data, current data is continuing to change.

    It is a publisher / subscriber model. The data that is different is quite old. The replicati takes place every 5 minutes and hence the data is may undergo changes as the replication is taking place. Even though there are regular backups, there was no restore. Thanks
