The easiest way to add an article would be to edit the publication within the SSMS and add the article there. This will cause the subscribers to become invalid and will require that you push a new snapshot from the publisher to the subscribers so that the new table is added.

The only requirement to getting transactional replication setup is that each table (article) needs to have a primary key on it.
