I tried to restore the a SQL server database to a different server from a backup. I restored it on two servers unsuccessfully. The following are the messages displayed after the restore:
The database was succesfully restored, but its replication state is indeterminate (This is odd because the Solution manager database is not involved in a replication environment)
There are also messages about invalid object name sysobjects
RESTORE DATABASE successfully processed 272222234 pages in 1195.232 seconds
MICROSOFT-SQL DBO (ODBC SQLState: 42S02)
After the restore, the restore screen is displayed as if you are going to restore the database again. If you cancel, you return to Enterprise Manager and the database is not listed. However, if you exit Enterprise Manager and return, the database is listed, but cannot be accessed through any function (properties, tables, etc.).
As I mentioned I have tried retsoring on two different servers, with the same unsuccessful results. Does anyone have any ideas why the database will not restore successfully?
