Can any tell me all the steps to coneect Sql Server to V3R7 version of AS/400.

Client Access should be installed on the machine with SQL server -- this will give you the ODBC driver for the i-series.

If you're using an ODBC source the method would be the same for both
.. I suspect that you installed the V5R7 driver .. that may not work with the earlier box.
Don't remember if I ever did it on V3R7
Perhaps someone else has a suggestion.

We have installed Client Access on machine where sql server reside , but still we are not able to connect through ODBC driver

actually we have adopt the same method for V5R7 version we are able to connect that , but when we are trying to connect V3R7 version it gives the error.

is it possible to connect V3R7 from Sql Server if yes then please let me know the steps.
