Is it acceptable to run SQL 2005 and SQL 2008 side-by-side on the same MS cluster (single-instance) cluster in production? At least temporarily until all SQL 2005 DB appl vendors are approved on SQL 2008. I know there were issues and recommendations to Not do this with SQL 2000 and 2005 because they were so different. Any issues we need to know about whether it be in general or relating to the cluster?
