my quation is ..
[em]i had a tablecalled product. it has some fields like P_ID,PNAME,SALES,DATE etc write a quary to display the sales less than 100$ only[/em]

SELECT *
FROM product
WHERE sales < 100
If a person has more than one sale in the table you will need to use this query:
SELECT pname, SUM(sales)
FROM product
GROUP BY pname
HAVING SUM(sales) < 100
If you only need sales for a certain time period:
SELECT *
FROM product
WHERE sales < 100 AND datesold BETWEEN '2009-01-01' and '2009-12-01'
SELECT pname, SUM(sales)
FROM product
WHERE datesold BETWEEN '2009-01-01' and '2009-12-01'
GROUP BY pname
HAVING SUM(sales) < 100
