 SQL “NOT CONNECTED” icon in my taskbar
there is an icon in my taskbar and when i highlight it it says NOT CONNECTED. when i right click it it pops up a menu with OPEN SQL SERVER SERVICE MANAGER on the top...what is this and why is the icon in my taskbar?

This is in the system tray because you have SQL 7 or SQL 2000 installed on the machine. If you have the Office 2003 Business Contact Manage this would have installed SQL Server as part of the package. There are also several other pieces of software which would have installed SQL Server automatically.
