Hello, I would please like to know if someone could help me out with a database migration issue.I have a server and i need to migrate all of my data on my current database to a new database. It seems that the new database might be a little different in structure and the tables generally so i would really like to know if you could help me by any way in order to migrate all of my data ( stored accounts, password, values etc) to the new database. My database is a gaming related database. Iam using Windows Server 2003 Enterprise and SQL Server 2005 Enterprise.Iam really not experienced enough so i would really appreciate if someone could guide me. Thank you very much. Sincerely, Paul.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

If the table structure between the two databases is different then you will need to map where each piece of data needs to go to. You can then use SSIS to move the data from the source database to the destination database.

There isn’t much more help that can be provided via a forum. If this is a production database system you may want to contact a local database consultant to assist with this project.
