 spooler subsystem error
3 of 50 users are experiencing a bizarre problem with printers. all workstations are running xp pro, domain is enterprise 2003. 2 users printers are tcp/ip network printers 1 user is usb to workstation. upon startup I get spooler subsystem app error and says it needs to close. you can manually start spooler but errors out and stops within seconds. all printers also disappear from printers window. Problem is when logged in via domain or local machine, seems to be isolated to those 3 workstations (all have been running same everything for a year). No lexmarks are connected, all are hp (2025, 1320, 4600, 1415) this is driving me nuts!!!

Answer Wiki:
Practically there should not be a problem if all are on the same network, There a number of things you have to check. 1. Check that the all IP addresses are in the same range and that you are able to ping the printer from the 3 PCs. 2. Check that the domain name is the same too on all the three PCs just like the others that are ok. 3. Try to reconnect the network printers to the PCs and see if you still have the same error message.
