 spool file to pdf
Is there a way to convert a spool file in a pdf file without using any new software or coding. thanks

I don’t know what “new” software is defined as. One way is to setup iSeries Access for the Web (comes with iSeries Access). All spool file display as PDF.

And even the “new software” is no big deal. There are free converters out there.. Generates a PDF and puts it in the IFS. Google is your friend..

Hi

There is some commads to create the spool into the PDF format.
Step 1 : Copy the spool file to the flat file .
step 2 : create one folder on he as400 system through CRTFLR
Step 3: save the file in the created folder as *doc with .PDF ext. through CPYTOPCD
Step 4: then send this PDF documenet to the mail id thru SNDDST
