 Spool file printing via Windows XP
AS/400 printing, iSeries, Spool files, Windows XP
We are creating a spool file (RPG II)on the iSeries (9406-800) and sending it to a printer that "prints" a text file to a PC. When the file gets to the PC, a box pops up asking for a file name. Is there a way to get the file to a specific Windows folder without having to enter a name?

Hi, Can you give us some more details about the setup for your printer? Is this a PC product that you connect to, or is it something that runs on the AS400? Do you still want to use this method of transferring the spool file, or would you like to transfer it some other way? Regards, Martin Gilbert.
