how to take spool file backup in V5R3 by using BRMS

Probably the easiest thing is to create a "Backup List" and then add that list to your backup group.
GO BRMBKUPLN - Backup Planning Menu
Use option #5 to Work With Backup Lists
Use the Copy option to copy QALLSPLF
Use the Edit option to edit the copy - You can specify Lib, OutQ, File, Job, user, User Data
From the Backup Planning Menu, use option #2 to Work With Backup Control Groups.
(You may want to copy the control group that you are going to modify before changing it)
Use the edit option on the control group to modify.
Add the backup list you created specifying the list name bor the "Backup Item" and "*SPL" for the list type.
Exit and Save.
