Q:
Spammers masquerade to be one of us

Hi Friends
I am on domino 7.0
How to stop spammers when they are masked as one of us..
like if we are xyz.com and spam comes as viagra@xyz.com. how to configure the Domino to recognize that domain?
Is there any helping configuration in NAB?

You will need to look for the the senders SPF record. I am not sure how to do this in Domino but that will do it.

Thank you EastCoasGuy,

Lotus Notes/Domino doesn’t support SPF for incomming mails. The work around would have to be anoter server between Internet and Domino Mail server and using PPAnti Spam http://www.policypatrol.com/)
Any alternate suggestion please?

Thanks again.

I would do it at the SMTP gateway then. There are third party spam products you could purchase or you could use free open source like D-Spam or Spam Assassin. Proofpoint has a solid spam solution that bundles a few spam technologies into an appliance.
