spam email

Spam, Symantec, Outlook, Norton AntiVirus 2004, Norton AntiVirus 2008

I upgraded my symantec virus protection from 2004 to 2008. Before I upgraded to 2008 I had an icon in my Outlook tool bar that said "this is spam". I could highlight all my spam in my inbox and click this is spam and it would go into my spam folder. Now I no longer have that.

If you are using Nortin Internet Security, you can download their "Add-on Pack" for free which includes the Spam Filter and Parental Controls.

Their link is here:

http://www.symantec.com/norton/products/overview.jsp?pcid=is&pvid=naop2

They describe it as:

"Block unwanted or offensive online content with per-user account parental controls and antispam in the Norton™ Add-on Pack 2008, an optional download for Norton Internet Security 2008 and Norton 360 customers (available at no additional cost). The Add-on Pack also includes a confidential information blocking feature to prevent all sensitive private data that you specify from being transmitted out of your computer."
