Spam Appliance – Recommended for an IT Service Providerspam
I help run an company that provides IT consulting services to small / medium businesses. I am looking for a spam applicance where we could brand the appliance with our logo and name and resell the anti spam service to our clients where the MX record would be pointed to our spam applicance and redirected to our clients Exchange. Each day the appliance would send each person a report - like Baracuda appliance, but with our name and logo on it. Anyone know of such of a device or service?

We use MXLogic Spam Control and it is awesome, has outperformed the last 3 different Spam apps we have purchased, I'm not sure they will let you brand their service, actually not sure anyone will for Spam defenses like you suggest but it's worth a try, contact MXlogic and ask.

Why not do it in the cloud and become a Google partner? Their <a href="http://www.google.com/postini/index.html">Postini</a> services are very effective and the traffic does not have to reach the client's network so they save on network bandwidth at the edge. You get so much more than anti-spam and anti-virus with this solution. It is well worth the look I believe.

Check out St. Bernard’s iPrism. Been recommending it for years with good feedback. They offer a SaaS solution and apparently an appliance as well. Not sure about co-branding though.
