How do you view the code inserted by COPY or INCLUDE in a COBOL ILE program in AS/400? (Not using STRDBG)

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

You can always take a look at the compile listing. It has all the code expanded out.

Thank you very much. But I do not always know where the source is. Do you know how to find the source location from the executable program?

A lot of place I have work over the years would keep our "copybook" source code in a file QAPPSRC in the production source library. The COBOL was QCBLSRC, and RPG was in QRPGLESRC. I'd check for a QAPP* file for the code for the copy command in your code.

The /COPY directive may specify the src library/file on it. If it doesn't then it should be in QCBLSRC (well for RPG the default is QRPGLESRC), in the library list at the time of compile. You may need to search a few src files looking for the member in question.
