Can someone please let me know how one can increase the number of threads in a Solaris box for nfsd performance?

There a couple of different ways to do this.

One was is from the command line, for 32 threads, do this : pc.nfsd 32

The other way is to add it to your nfs init file. In /etc/rc.d/init.d/nfs, do this:

2. RPCNFSDCOUNT=32
