Softlandings Turnover

Any other current user of this software aware of the increase in maintenance support for 2008?

Answer Wiki

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

This month I got the invoice for the maintenance renewal for Softlanding’s TurnOver. To my surprise I saw a huge increase (80%) compared to the previous years. I asked the new company (Softlanding has been acquired by UNICOM Systems) and they just told me that the price went up. I am still hoping to get a better explanation because this new price means that I pay yearly about 34% of the initial price of this product.
I start looking at alternatives, so if anyone has a better or at least comparable product, I am open for suggestions.

John

We only received a 60% increase. I'm going to have start looking for a replacement software package. Frankly if they had given a little warning that this kind of increase was coming, I could have prepared my budget for 2008 for some kind of bump. Frankly, the impression I'm getting is they don't care about their client base at all. If you don't mind leave an update if you get a better explaination for this increase from them since I can't get anyone from UNICOM to even talk to me about it.

Our costs more than doubled. After talking with them their response was basically that Softlanding was not charging enough.

  • Our costs more than doubled also. I have started looking for an alternative also. Bad Business Decision - Purchase a company and crap on your customers!
