 SNDDST
Is SNDDST possible with a remote DNS (I don't think so). I think everythink necessary is properly configured on our As400 (TCP, SMTP, WRKDIRE....). What should we do?

consider using a different method. There are freeware email programs that utilize the email API QtmmSendMail.

absolutely it works.. use cfgtcp take option 12, input your external domain ip address there. then use chgsmtpa command and input the fully qualified domain name of your dns server on the mail router line, ie abc.domain.com. lastly make sure you use cfgtcp, option 10 and make an entry for your domain server listed prior with ip address. it works, trust me…

It works now. I changed the port to 53 (IBM standard ?) That was a check I didn’t do……
