 SNDDST
I am using the SNDDST command to send a message or a attached file, i get the message "Send distribution completed successfully." When i check with the recipient or i send it to myself it is never received. Can anyone make a suggestion. I have gone through all the CFGTCP checks.

Answer Wiki:
Hi, Is there anything waiting on the distribution queues? (WRKDSTQ). Try querying the distribution log to see if there are any messages regarding your distributions (QRYDST). Regards, Martin Gilbert. =============================================================== SNDDST sends the distribution, but I assume you're actually wanting SMTP e-mail rather than a SNA distribution. If so, please make sure you describe what you need. SNDDST isn't intended as a SMTP client, although it is possible to route some distributions over to SMTP. There is very little relationship at all between CFGTCP and SNDDST. If that's what you actually need, you probably should be using appropriate tools. Tom

Hello,

Another way you can see the log is DSPDSTLOG. You can select a date range to see and once you see the logs listed, you can take an option 5 to see detail.
Or you can GO CMDDST and see all of your options for DST setup.

Hi, Another thing you may want to check- is to review the rules set up in their e-mai. It may may identify the e-mail as junk or spam. I ran into that problem not too longg ago. Everything looked correct on the 400 but we later discovered the e-mail was directed to a junk folder.
