I dont know how will I address this issue because I used to send email to this group before but only now I received such error. I haven't made any changes to our server configuration yet. SMTP Error 501 : The command was correct and
recognised, but the parameters (the arguments, e.g. email
address) were not valid.

For example, the following email address will definitely give
an SMTP Error 501 with most mail servers,
happy\_larry@hotmail.com, as “\” is not allowed in email
addresses, which makes this email address invalid.
In the vast majority of cases SMTP Error 501 is caused
by invalid email addresses. For example, a typical return
error message might be : “<remote-server-ip-address>
does not like recipient. Remote host said: 501 Invalid
Address”.

In cases where the error is not caused by an invalid email
address, an SMTP Error 501, particularly if repeated, can
be indicative of communications problems, such as a noisy
line, intermittent drops in network connections, etc...

thanks to the info.. we actually have the same reference site visited.. anyway, I just found out, since I’ve open this issue to my office mates, that I’m not the only person whose experiencing that problem.. One of them told me that since the first time he used that group address, he keeps on receiving same error which I think kinda weird because I patterned the creation of which to other group email in our directory. Do I need to re-create the group in our directory just to refresh it?
