 SMTP and internet mail
Using the SNDDST command on an iSeries with Notes mail. Recently had to switch to HA box (don't ask..). Made all the SMTP command changes, ended the server and restarted. Cannot send internet mail. Returns NOT ABLE TO DELIVER MAIL, 554. FIrst was using our backup mail server (not defined on internet). Have since switch to use regular mail server (defined on internet) which is used on production box. Ended SMTP and restarted to no avail. Anything else I should check? Help.

Answer Wiki:
If you've already tried ENDMSF then STRMSF, are you also setup in WRKDIRE on the HA box? Use DSPDSTSRV to verify your DSTQ and Routing Table. If everything appears correct, check the Dist Log (DSPDSTLOG) and review the details for the 3 jobs QZRCSRVS, QMSF, and QDIA. There should be some info in one of the 3 joblogs. ________________________________ Did your source IP address change? Maybe your mail relay server was configured to permit only relay from the old system IP address. In the IT trenches?
