Currently, I installed a USB WiFi thumb into my XP which has already a ethernet connection. I found that my XP will soon halt for a while repeatly after I get connected with the USB WiFi. I have tried to delete all the network drive. It seems better, but still has the problem. Any solution?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

The USB WiFi adapter driver may be causing the problem. You should also make sure that the binding order is set correctly based on the preferred network adapter order. Also, disable any unnecessary protocols and services on both of the network adapters.
