I have created a new site with Active Directory and just now need to specify the subnet but have run into a small problem. The subnets which I want to use for this site our 192.25.48.0 to 192.25.56.0. When creating a subnet you are prompted to enter an IP and also a subnet, the subnet i will enter is 255.255.240.0 but i am not sure what enter for the IP, so I enter the starting IP for the range.
Thanks

I asked a question a couple of days ago regarding Sites and Services and the subnet setup. I would just like to double check on the question and answer. I would like to thank you for the reply
I have two physical locations, one location has two domain controllers with an IP range of 192.25.64.0 to 192.25.75.0 and a subnet of 255.255.192.0. Lets call this LA
The second physical location is using 192.25.48.0 to 192.25.63.0 and a subnet of 255.255.240.0 there is one domain controller on this side. ( called Paris)There is only one domain.
When setting up a site Paris I am asked to specify an IP this is where i am confused. I do not want to setup a site for the LA location at this time as it can use the default site setup.
The Paris network is new and I want to leave the LA network alone, i just want to double check the LA network is not being affected.
Thank you
