SiteMinder Encoding Message, Character encoding, SiteMinder

Hi, I am receiving the below Internet Explorer message when accessing a web based application that resides on a company's intranet. Does anyone know what I should have my encoding set at for this web based application (a Standard) or would the company's intranet specify what the encoding would or should be set at?

<!--SiteMinder Encoding=ISO-8859-1; -->

Thanks in advance
