I'm thinking of proposing Hyper-V instead of VMWare to save cost. We don't need advance features like VMotion or Live Migration, only the virtualization capability. I would need a reference site to justify the proposal to convince the management that Hyper-V is stable and that other companies have implemented it in their data centers. Can anybody recommend a reference site? Thanks.

You should search for hyper-v case studies. I remember there was a site that listed them in the past, but I can’t find it anymore. Here’s one site.
