 Single VM Error 51
Event ID 51, VM, VMware, VMware error messages
The following question was recently submitted via e-mail by a user: I have a group of VMs, and one of them is giving me an Event 51 error. It gets a lot of activity (lots of small files being accessed, lots of I/O), and the event error happens usually during the paging operation. I already have timeout set at 60 sec., but I'm still getting the error.

Answer Wiki:
The I/O activity is too high for a Virtual Machine. I would suggest you migrate this to a physical server. Virtual Server I/O is a major consideration when you decide to Virtualize.
