How can I change the options in the shutdown menu from Hibernate to shutdown? Its a pain to hit the pull down ans scroll down to shut down every time.

Actually I have already done that. Kinda silly to not turn off the puter when you press the button to turn it off. Those wily MS geeks. But Im looking for the code change to have shutdown show up as the first option in the shut down menu. As it is now, the first choice is Hibernate and I have to scroll down to get to the shutdown option.

The settings can be found here (Start / Control Panel / System and Maintenance / Power Options) but they are kind of buried under a couple advanced options settings. This video will walk you though the steps to get there... http://tinyurl.com/6lrccm
