What is the command to enable show ip arp | in [strong]IP Adress [/strong]OR [strong]Mac Address[/strong]  so that i can trace IP Addresses running on my switches

In some switches i am able to trace ip addresses running in the swtich through the command show ip arp but in other switches i am not able to trace out ip addresses with the same command. So my question is how do i enable show ip arp command in L2 enviornment.

The command may not work in certain versions of the Cisco IOS or Catalyst OS software. You will need to find the appropriate command for the version of operating system on the switches in use.
