Dear sir,

I have 4 PC's. 1 PC has Suse linux 9 installed and other 3 hav win XP installed. I have a BSNL  broadband connection which i want to install on Suse machine and then share internet with all PC's.I have only 1 NIC on all machines.I have an 8-port switch thrrough which all my PC's are connected.

So, please tell me about connecting broadband on my suse machine and also about sharing internet.

please you can make a win xp pc for server use and 3 other pc’s connect with server pc
install your broadband with xp pc and share then other three pc’s 1 extra NIC card install in server pc which you can make xp pc. and then share easily internet and other share folders

MUCH easier answer: get a switch, connect it to your router, wire all your devies into the switch, make sure they all get IP’s on the same subnet and have the router as a default gateway and they shold all get online easily…

    Firstly u have to configure SAMBA or Domain membership in Linux OS then u have to configure XP OS also to share properly like firewall etc.....
