I'm fairly new to SharePoint. Is there a way that we can view which users have accessed a particular document in a library. For example: We place a notice of a new event on a page. When the user opens/reads/views, can we find out who has accessed that particular document?? Thanks, Mary

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

The IIS logs will show what IP accessed a document. I’m not sure if there is more detailed logging in Sharepoint for showing user access.

You could also turn on Auditing with that list. This would record anyone who opened the item.
