SharePoint AD and Contact List

Hi,
I am using WSS 3.0. I have a contacts list within it which is manually updated when new users are added to the company.
Is there a way so when we add a user to AD and their details - phone number, email address automatically gets added to our Sharepoint contacts list?
Or any other solutions around？

Answer Wiki:
Not sure about WSS but with MOSS, you can set this AD Profile sync up in the Shared Service Provider. Just need to edit the profile properties and set it to sync with the AD fields.
