Empty .. as in contains zero records.
I don’t think you should have the DSPSFL keyword on in this case.

    It shouldn't be anything but zero if the subfile is empty. And as Phil indicates, the SFL itself shouldn't be displayed if the subfile is empty, so the SFLRCDNBR value won't even be meaningful. Tom
