Setup VLAN for two IP/Subnets

I need to setup a VLAN on a Cisco 2950 to communicate between two ip/subnets

Main LAN 10.66.x.x/16

Secondary LAN 192.168.0.xxx/24

Need each network be able to talk to the other.  I am new to routers and looking for help

Cisco 2950 (24 Ports)

there is no way to do that on c2950. Possible solutions: 1 – adding a router to your network 2 – replacing your c2950 with a multilayer switch (c3550 is more yhan enough for that purposes and it’s also pretty cheap) 3 – using multihomed (multiple NICs) pc as a router (for example Windows Server).

    What is your level of knowledge in networking? You stated you were new to routing but do you have a basic knowledge or more in networking?     VSh pretty much nailed it: 2950's are Layer 2 devices, and inter-VLAN communication (routing) requires a Layer 3 device (Router, firewall, L3 Switch)
