 Setting Up remote printing
Our IT consultant cannot figure out how to use typical USB connected pritner to print at the remote site. They say only parelle printers can be used, UNLESS THEY DO SOME MORE RESEARCH. Should I just buy a USB to Parallel adapter, cannot find printers with just parallel connections? Suggestions? Solutions. Tom Shred Ready

At the risk of helping the competition, I did a little research myself (2 minutes worth) and found the following link: http://www.windowsitpro.com/Article/ArticleID/39674/39674.html I can sympathize with your consultant - it seemed like a no-brainer to me, but - I'd never actually tried it. Most of the Google searches for USB printer sharing refer to Macintosh solutions, but the one above seems to indicate that it can be done in a fairly straightforward manner - but not quite as simple as with a regular parallel port.
