It&#039;s almost guaranteed that if you&#039;re going to do this for a home system, you&#039;ll never want anything like Windows Explorer coming in from outside. (Even more so if this was a business system.) You will only want the specific allowed connection protocol.

As for, not &lt;EM&gt;&#039;online&#039;&lt;/EM&gt;, Explorer access should work.
&#160;
Now, if you absolutely want it to work as you describe, it&#039;s not going to be cheap. Any help you get will be professional and probably involve professional rates. (Unless you&#039;re not worried about having your entire home network, and potentially everyone&#039;s network that connects to yours,&#160;open to the world without your knowledge.)
