 Setting Hyper-V Server RAM allocation
I want to set the amount of RAM Hyper-V Server uses so that more can be distributed to the VMs. How can this be done? Thank you. Moderator Note: This is a user submitted question

You can't really set the amount of RAM that is allocated to Hyper-V. You have to allocate memory to your virtual machines. Once you do that, the root operating system will use whatever memory is left over. I recommend that you always make at least 2 GB available to the root operating system.
