Before I can download PHP I need to know what is my server name, such as Apache or something else. I'm using a PC that's a community computer. How do I find the name of the server?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Not sure why a sotware is asking for a server name, except maybe if you are joining something in a network.  You just go to the Computer icon, right click-t, go to Properties, System Settings, then Computer Name.

Can you describe a little more about what you're doing? Are you needing to know where to download from? Or is a PHP download site asking you about your server? A PHP download doesn't ask me anything, though it's necessary to choose whether it's a Windows or Linux download version. -- Tom
